Multistretch

Our Multistretch range does as its name implies. It is the first choice for pressure relief applications and all healthcare settings. It is Crib 5, anti-microbial, anti-MRSA, REACH compliant and phthalate free and comes in a range of soft gentle colours.

This range is suitable for all contract upholstery both indoor and outdoor.
Phthalates are a group of chemical compounds that can be used in the manufacture of PVC. These chemicals release toxins that are harmful to the human body. All of our Chieftain products are Phthalate free.
Independent testing has verified that Chieftain is effective at reducing the spread of MRSA, E.coli and other similar bacteria and fungi.
Source 5 (Crib 5) is related to upholstery and furniture coverings, and is related to BS 5852. Our Carino range meets the British Standards fire regulations for the contract market.
Chieftain has been certified to inhibit the spread of Clostridium Difficile (C.diff) making it the ideal solution for high risk infection control areas.
Due to the PVC coating of the Chieftain range and its wipe clean ability, this makes vinyl virtually resistant to most household stains, alkalis or drinks as they are not absorbed by the vinyl.
Chieftain can withstand 1,000,000 rubs from a Martindale Machine without damaging or marking the top layer of the vinyl. This makes Chieftain suitable for all high traffic, heavy duty areas.
At the end of our products life cycle, we embark upon plastic recycling. The PVC can be stripped away from the cotton backing cloth and reused. Typically, our PVC is re-used in electric wiring. The backing cloth we use is also from recycled cotton.
This product is Vegan. Meaning that it contains no animal ingredients or bi products, uses no animal ingredients or bi products in the manufacturing process, and it has not been tested on animals by any company or independent contractor.
