Chieftain Carousel

Introducing Chieftain Carousel. Carousel is our 2nd fabric to launch into the woven market. Its composition is made up of 59% Recycled Cotton and 41% Polyester. It is suitable for all contact applications with Crib 5 certification & 200,000 Martindale Rubs. Carousel is also an Aquaclean™ product. Aquaclean™ Technology is a cleaning facilitator meaning that most stains can be removed using water only. Aquaclean™ has also been treated with Safefront® Protective Shield and will not support the growth of bacteria.

Aquaclean™ is PFC free (Perfluorocarbon). Just like Chieftain Fabrics, Aquaclean ™ believe that it is our responsibility towards future generations to avoid the use of harmful substances.

This range is suitable for all contract upholstery both indoor and outdoor.

Phthalates are a group of chemical compounds that can be used in the manufacture of PVC. These chemicals release toxins that are harmful to the human body. All of our Chieftain products are Phthalate free.

Independent testing has verified that Just Colour is effective at reducing the spread of MRSA, E.coli and other similar bacteria and fungi.

Source 5 (Crib 5) is related to upholstery and furniture coverings, and is related to BS 5852. Our range meets the British Standards fire regulations for the contract market.

Due to the PVC coating of this range and its wipe clean ability, this makes vinyl virtually resistant to most household stains, alkalis or drinks as they are not absorbed by the vinyl.

Wash and Care

Aquaclean™ Technology is a cleaning facilitator. This means that most stains can be removed using water only. For more persistent stains you can add neutral soap to the water to remove the stain. We do not recommend using alcohol or any other kind of abrasive, synthetic detergent, wax polish or aerosol spray for cleaning Carousel. If you are unsure about how to clean your fabric, contact us immediately.

Failure to comply with our recommendations will forfeit your warranty.
