At Chieftain Fabrics the broad spectrum antimicrobial blend has been specifically developed to provide a high level of immediate and long-term protection against attack by micro-organisms.  Extensive programmes carried out in our microbiology laboratories have demonstrated that our blend is highly effective against a broad range of micro-organisms, including MRSA, E.coli and other similar bacteria. The EPA approved Chieftain antimicrobial blend is also resistant to UV and leaching effects.

Thanks to the inherent antimicrobial properties of our fabrics, they have an unparalleled safety profile.  Our antimicrobial blend will not leach into the environment, nor transfer to other articles or to the skin.  No arsenic, heavy metals or polychlorinated phenols are used in its manufacture.  The Chieftain antimicrobial blend stops bacterial and fungal growth.  It also eliminates microbial staining and deterioration.
