At Chieftain Fabrics, we manufacture all of our products in Europe. As well as this, every component of our vinyl is sourced in Europe. We pride ourselves on having full control of the manufacturing process and as a result are able to offer a totally bespoke product to meet our customers’ needs. This means that if there is a product you require that isn’t already in our collection – let us know. All of our product parameters can be altered. We can match any colour, texture, thickness, backing cloth, specification etc.
The process is simple. Get in touch with us and send us a sample and/ or technical specifications of the product you need to match. We will then send this to our lab to be replicated. This takes approximately 2 weeks. We will then send the sample back to you for approval. When the sample has been approved we can begin manufacturing which takes between 6 and 8 weeks to complete. If you are not 100% content with the sample we can repeat the process until you are satisfied. There is no charge for this initial matching service.
The cost of the fabric will be dependent on the specification of the fabric that is being produced and this is on a case by case basis. There is a minimum order quantity of 500 metres when manufacturing a bespoke product.
To give an example of a bespoke project, we recently worked with a customer who required Just Colour Dune with Crib 1 Fire Rated Technologies. An added stretch in the backing cloth was also needed so we added 8% Lycra the existing PES and Cotton mixture to achieve this. The customer passed the sample and the production run began.
